There are a couple of “big figs” in the set, Bane and Killer Croc. There is a newer set (76122) that features a Clayface built out of several pieces, but it’s far more LEGO-y and a noticeable step down from the prior…he certainly doesn’t clock in at no 448 pieces. Clayface is an interesting case – he’s an entire set of a whopping 448 pieces. This was a really great opportunity (and maybe one of the few we’ll ever see) to get outrageous villains like King Tut, Condiment King, Polka-Dot Man, Crazy Quilt, Zodiac Master, The Eraser, and so on. So let’s hit on a couple of interesting factoids about these villains! First of all, when applicable, most of these are lifted from the sets released under the LEGO Batman (film) banner and the accompanying blind bags. the Kabuki Twins, I only counted them as a single villain. Lastly I wanted to say that in cases of duplicate villains, i.e. He’s too high profile and rightfully belongs in Superman’s Rogue’s Gallery.

Also, General Zod was included in a LEGO Batman Blind Bag, but I cannot in good faith just list Zod as a Batman baddie. Special Note: Originally this list would’ve included Steppenwolf as well as the green and yellow variants of the Parademon, and even though they did come with Batman’s Flying Fox, this was technically a Justice League set, and let’s face it: Batman wouldn’t be able to do much against him without some help.

I did blanket searches, I searched for specific characters, and went through an insane number of pictures of boxes. I did a good bit of research before going through with this, so it is possible that someone has fallen through the cracks, though I really don’t think so. You can thank the 347 waves of LEGO Batman sets for a lot of these villains, but to be fair, there are plenty outside of many of these bizarrely obscure baddies. This doesn’t include custom made figures (and there are some damn convincing ones out there) or completely marginal cannon fodder like “Joker thug” or “Two-Face thug.” I also had to draw the line between “Batman villain” and “villain who’s fought Batman.” For example, Lex Luthor and Batman have gone toe-to-toe several times but Luthor is primarily a Superman villain, Don’t worry though, I’ll be back before too long with “the rest of the DC villains”! Oh and also I don’t claim to necessarily have every version of every villain one’s enough, eh? To my knowledge this is a gathering of all Batman villains that have been made into LEGO minifigures.
